must try harder!
I seem to have lost the knack of blogging. Short sharp comments on FB seem to be all I have time for, which is ridiculous really considering how little we appear to be doing!
And of course, once you get behind it’s a devils own job to remember it all……
Aprilia has a cold, I have a cough, Duke is in Holland and a good friend has had a change of meds which is making him an argumentative git. Humph.
On the other hand, Aprilia spent most of yesterday blissfully happily occupied with Hama beads and watching DVDs, and as one was A Christmas Carol I can count that as education can’t I? Skype has been installed on my PC and Duke’s laptop so we can converse, which is much easier than FB chatting and amazingly clear. At teh weekend we had the "Wombwell Christmas Do" without the guest of honour who had to go home due to family illness but hey, Young Tom and I ate his share too 
and made a fair attempt at drinking his share as well! This did lead to a slightly slow start to Sunday 
but there were enough warm comfortable places for everyone to keep out of each other’s way and deal with it. The racing was good, the company was good when he behaved himself… (grrrr) and the battery powered fairy lights round the front of the ambi added a suitably festive touch to proceedings.
Oh, and I scraped a Pass 3 on the last OU course. No real surprises, I fell down on not refering to the texts sufficiently (having got "adequate" for all other areas, I got "weak" for that part) but I was never going to get any more than a Pass 3 regardless of exam performance as that was where my course work put me and really, at that point, that’s what you get. Still, a pass is a pass 
yup, pass 3 here on the level 2 course as well, quite pleased with the exam result though.
will take a year off then get act together and do something else I think.
