but I’ve just gone to put a story CD on for Aprilia and found that the case is broken and full of plaster dust from one of those excavate a dinosaur type kits. I’m not amused. It’s about time she started looking after her stuff and those things just aren’t cheap!
Anyway, there were some good bits today, Duke sold the old Volvo, he would have got £600 for it but had to settle for £500 because it looks ratty (he didn’t bother washing it and it’s covered in cat paw prints) and it wouldn’t start without a lot of persuasion which has been a recurring issue with it and one he ommited to mention in the advert
And I’ve sold the unwanted bits of Core 1, granted for a lot less than it’s worth but as a lot of it was second hand to me already I think it’s fair enough and we have kept all the loved bits so it’s stuff that we weren’t going to get any more use out of anyway.
Aprilia was in charge of the projector in church this morning, not one of those where you put slides onto the light, a PC controlled thing, and she did pretty well with just nudges from me when she needed to scroll down to the next bit if it looking like she was lost. then they all sang happy birthday to her which made her go all red!
Tomorrow we are buying new trousers (again) for her, the last 2 pairs no longer fit her as she has shot up and really she isn’t the right shape for hipsters! I know, I need to change her shape, it would be cheaper but really, she doesn’t eat all that badly most of the time and she just ties herself in knots with most exercise which makes her really understandably not want to do a lot! I fear I over sympathise with her as I was just the same but really I need to get a grip on the both of us! Sigh. I think we would do more if walking into town was easier but it’s nearly an hour into town and a good hour and a half back up the hill again to get home and it’s a really busy main road so you don’t even get any fresh air whilst you are doing it!
Also in the plan for tomorrow is starting to blitz the bits of the house that her party guests next Saturday will see. Most of that will be easy enough, not sure what I’m going to do about her bedroom though!
