T-Bird Anni Rides Again

It wasn’t actually raining this afternoon, wasn’t one of those cold crisp sort of days either but there was no actual rain falling.  So Aprilia rummaged round and found a groundsheet big enough which she put out on the grass then she could pop up her pop up tent on it and re-live our "summer" by supplying it with soft toys, bedding and the story basket. (The grass was really wet so I said she couldn’t use it without a groundsheet as otherwise we would need to find somewhere to dry it out before we could twizzle it back down into it’s bag) It was **** cold though!  Even under blankets we only lasted an hour as the tent is single skinned so there’s no lovely insulating air gap and the inside was dripping with condensation.  It was a useful test mind you as I’ve now proved to her that it’s not suitable for proper sleeping out in but it will be a good place to be for slightly warmer days!

We had more stories inside the house and then she suddenly asked me to help her learn to tell the time so we did a little bit of that using a poster we have had on the wall for waaaay tooooo many years.  Not sure we are any further forward with it but if we keep plugging away we are bound to get somewhere eventually!

For some unknown reason I find myself feeling really down.  And not wanting to do anything.  Not even go and spend a day with a good friend.  My house is a mess, I have a mountain of washing and dirty dishes and I just want to run away from it all.  I hate winter.
