T-Bird Anni Rides Again

Typical!

Tomorrow is one of the rare Sundays when Duke isn’t out anywhere.  So obviously Aprilia and I are out all day!  Never mind, he’ll enjoy the peace I’m sure.

Yesterday he had a day off work and we endured Cheshire Oaks where Duke uttered the Obvious Statement of the Day (bear in mind it’s a "designer outlet" by the way)  "It’s alright here but there’s a lot of designer shops isn’t there"  Yes Dear.

I’m not sure how successful a day it was given that Aprilia had a sore ankle and isn’t that thrilled at shopping at the best of times, Duke had had a poor night’s sleep (as had I, the two being intricately linked - he snored, he woke me up with the noise, I beat him up, he woke up briefly, we both drifted back off again, repeat innumerable times) and was thus intolerant of Aprilia’s lack of enthusiasm for his chosen special day out and I spent the day desperately wishing I could bang their heads together cos being whined at in stereo is really no fun.  But despite that I bagged a few bargains, Aprilia rode on the carousel and Duke sent me out of a shop whilst he bought something so I guess I have a Christmas pressie!

Today we had Kung Fu in the morning and Aprilia was at the panto in Crewe with Brownies in th afternoon (oh no she wasn’t, oh yes she was….) so I stayed in town and did the weekly shop at a different Asda rather than drive back to  Winsford to my usual Asda.  I don’t like theirs as much.  Nothing is where it should be emoticon  This evening I finally talked her into taking down the pop up tent that she has been bedroom camping in for the last week on the promise of candles for reading Jotham’s Journey.  They are lovely big candles, bought specially just for when I’m reading Jotham’s Journey to her (it’s an advent story and you are supposed to light advent candles whilst you read it) and it was just irrestisable to her!
