I’ve been busy, I think

but I can’t for the life of me think what I’ve been busy doing!  Yesterday we went to a circus workshop and learnt to juggle with chiffon scarves (way easier than with balls cos you have so long to catch them) and had a go at various other things which covered her Circus Performer badge very nicely (did I ever mention this mission she has to get every badge in the book?) but I’m fairly sure that didn’t take all day,

Today we went to Jungle Jim for the morning.  I went shopping in the afternoon and forgot several important items but still managed to spend more than I intended to.

We have also started back at "school" which has now gravitated to her bed which is wonderful on so many levels, not least that it means I don’t have her books all over the living room all the time and the PC is handy for such essential brain work as Study Dog, Zoombinis and Rainbow Rock - wonder how I save pages of them to show the LEA lady then…..emoticon  We currently have all teh books we are supposed to be reading for Sonlight plus Flower Fairies for teh second time round, and a second visit to The Boxcar Children (from last year’s Sonlight), A Year of Miss Agnes and Understood Betsy (both from the current SL books)  Oh, and Harry Potter, Muddle Earth, a Roman Mystery and some Unfortunate Events.

Incidentally, is death of one of the major characters in childbirth really a suitable theme for a CBBC drama?  I’ve really enjoyed the Roman Mysteries series so far but we both sobbed and wailed at the end of this week’s episode.  Methinks I’m going to have to start checking the backs of the books before I read them to her, they have a habit of combining the plots of 2 or more books into one so it may not be in the "Slave from Jerusalem" book even if that was the title of the episode.

Anyway, on the countdown to my exam now so am busy making pretty posters to festoon the house with in a vain attempt at learning soem stuff.  Every now and then I wonder why I’m doing this, then I sit next to my girlie whilst she fights and struggles her way through a reading book and I remember that sometimes it has to be hard work to be worth it.
