Well, that makes a change then!
Usually when we go shopping i end up with little or nothing and Aprillia ends up with an armful of books/clothes/shoes or whatever. However, today Aprilia decided I was buying something for me, she was on a mission that gal! I need black trainers or pumps for Kung Fu, don’t need any other uniform bits yet, just suitable footwear. There was sale on in Brantano….. she flew round that shop picking up various options in various sizes and finally found me a fab pair of suade trainers that fit like a glove, couldn’t fit better if they’d been custom made for me which is something unheard of for my funny feet! And they were reduced from £30 to £15! Adn then, she spotted a pair of basket ball boots, I’ve been after a pair for ages but just won’t pay ££££ for them when they are only a glorified plymsole but I really like the cut of them so when she spotted some for £8, reduced from £35 I’m afraid fiscal policy went out of the window 
I feel all decadent!
Didn’t feel quite so good about it when I got home to find that Oulton are considering not having overnight cover for the Touring cars though, that’s £120 I’ll lose if they do but I’m not sure how they think they are going to get away with that on health and safety as there has to be a staffed medical unit for over a certain number of spectators and I’m not sure I’d trust the goons they get for Security to do much more than administer a plaster! Ho hum, it’s only money, it’s not there to look pretty is it, we’ve managed on much less but it’s just irritating when they penney pinch on things like that then throw money away painting the crash barriers silver so they look better!
I think we may have declared school over for summer by teh way, there seems to be a total lack of enthusiasm at the moment on both sides so I’m cutting my losses and declaring a break! Which means, of course, that tomorrow she will be in a positive learning frenzy doesn’t it!
