it’s just as sad second time round
Aprilia watched the last three episodes of Dr Who today on iPlayer, and wanted me to sit with her, so i sat and blubbed just as much this time round as I did the first. And then also needed to explain why all the non English people being taken to labour camps was so sad. I don’t want my little baby to know about Belsen, not yet, she’s too little to know that there are people that evil in the world. But now she knows just a little about such places although I perhaps glossed over the worse of it.
On a more cheery note, we have a new fly trap installed in the garden, it’s a Red Top one which I got of EBay and already I’m impressed The idea is that all the flys are attracted to the nice smelly bait in the huge bag and can’t get out (it’s got a sort of lobster pot arrangement) After just a few hours there were a significant number of beasties in there and barely any had wandered into the house so I’m declaring it an utter success even if it’s not waht you would call asthetically pleasing to ahve hung up in your garden!
Oh, and before you all wonder if there’s ever going to be any education on the blog ever again…. she did some more Learning Ladder and played Big Brain Accademy and a logic game today called River Crossing which is oh so simple….. but then again, once you get past the first few cards it’s really not!
