loony drivers of the world

They were all out today.  Every last one of them.  Not just on the roads either, it was one of the most ill mannered kart race days I’ve seen. One lot got a very loud dressing down in the middle of the circuit after they had mannaged to ahve a crash on the warming up lap (that’s before the race starts by the way…)  but they all walked away and that’s my kind of day.

and in spite of every loony in the North of England being on the roads today, and dense fog on the first part of the journey, I passed my driving assessment so, aparently I’m safe to drive ambis for another 2 years.  Teh pass criteria were not not crash and to get to McDonalds in time for us to eat before needing to be at the circuit….. well, actually I suspect there were a few more criteria but that was the task Rick set for me anyway…. he knows better than to ask me what the roadsign 5 miles back was, the answer he got off me 2 years ago aparently changed his opinion of me as a mild mannered, sweet natured lass    (no, he doesn’t read my blog obviously!!!) and he knows that he can’t distract me as I was also, aparently, fairly blunt about distractions on my last test too.  Gee, I do seem to have a reptuation, really can’t understand why you know!

Meanwhile Duke took Aprilia to see his mum for lunch then to see Enchanted which means that she has now got the last few stragglers of birthday pressies (I do like the way her birthdays sort of stretch out like that) and has now seen the film that her Brownie holiday is themed around.

And now I’m off for a nice, long, hot shower to ease the cramps out of my legs from all the running about round the edge of a really, very cold race track.  Nighty night.
