Just wish it hadn't left me so rapidly really.... But no, I wouldn't do what you did. In such circumstances, I make sure it's clean enough and then just stagger back to bed. I do hope everyone else escapes, though, or at the very least gets it over with before Christmas! We did have one Christmas Day when DH was in bed ill all day - that was pretty miserable.
