No more shopping!
Right, that’s it! Don’t care if I’ve forgotten anything now, I’m not, absolutely not, braving Asda now until after the holidays! I hvae multiple loaves of bread in teh freezer, several gallons of UHT milk stacked up, a month’s worth of eggs, enough fruit juice to supply one of our five a day for each of us for the forseeable future, ingredients for a mountain of muffins, a lake of chocolate sauce and enough pancakes to land us all in coronary care and stuff to make meals for several weeks. Oh, and I got more Gaviscon to aid recovering from all that excess 
I’ts not that I don’t like shopping as such but ti’s hit that point where everyone has turned savage in their desperation to buy every last scarp of festive food available.
Duke is muttering about me not having bought such essentials as pigs in blankets but I pointed out taht as we have bacon and sausage in teh freezer we can do our own much cheaper and with decent meat rather than the nasty cheap stuff in the little festive red boxes (that are more packaging than food to start with) He’s such a sucker for fancy packaging and convenience food, or is it just that Prairie Muffin streak in me that puts me off buying stuff I can make????? I did get enough peanuts/cashew nuts/pringles to ensure that any weight I may lose during my continued lack of interest with food will be rapidly replaced just as soon as I absentmindedly munch my way through a few packages in front of the obligatory Christmas movies! (sigh, I’ll never be skinny me….. mind you, I’d have to buy new clothes then so it’s just not a financially viable option is it
