pleasant but damp sort of day
Honest, at some point this year there will be some education on this blog!!!
Today I was at Wombwell with Red Cross. I spent the vast majority of the day sat in the front of the ambi either reading one of the set texts for the course I start in January or chatting with my 4th favourite fella (after my dad, Duke and Harley!!) Oops, does that sound as bad as I think it does??? Okay, favourite as in (in this case) who I would chose to spend a day passing time with at the side of a race track. Bloody good paramedic, genuinely interested in what you have to say, has the ability to chat off on tangents, can read me like a book and thinks Aprilia is ace - niec bloke! Was pretty wet all day which made for unpleasant driving especially in the dark on the way home, I do love the Woodhead pass in most weathers (when it’s snowed but been gritted is probably my fave) but not in the rain and howling gales!
Meanwhile, Duke and Aprilia went and mending my mum’s PC then sorted out their TV’s connections with the DVD player, video and digibox so they all play nicely and Aprilia whooped Dad at Magic Cauldron (she knows her adding facts that gal does!) Then they came home and put the Christmas tree up, Duke put the lights up and Aprilia threw tinsel at the tree until some of it stayed up. The cat likes the tree…… oh boy…..
