Having recently lost the dishwasher adn the DVD player, today it was the turn of teh TV. It quite litterally blew up with much smoke and pong. So Duke went out and bought something obsenely expensive (well, in my eyes anyway but then I’d be happy with something significantly more modest than would suit him), ridiculously big (again, this comes down to me really not seeing what is wrong with a 20" or there abouts TV compared with Duke being a firm beleiver in bigger is better) and "HD Ready" to replace it. I’ts very nice, it’s significantly clearer than the old one, it has built in digi thingie so it will continue to work once they turn off the analogue thingie. Duke is happy. I am wondering what happened to the plan to spend as little as possible over our normal budget in order to ammass lots of leeway for when this contract ends and we are back to a £12k income in April. Ho hum.
