Elezabeth - yes, I've looked at them, they are really good value however, the major cost of my main specs was the precision tint (gawd does't that sound pretentious!!) which cost £100 and there is only 1 lab in the country that does them (there not being that much call for it...) so I hve to shell out HUGE £££ for them. My crafting pair is going to be one of those Poundland specials at £2 or whatever (although I still fancy a pair of the Clic ones!)

And as for Dragon Fly and Koala Bear .... where's that smilie with the hair standing on end when you need it?????

My husband and a few friends have used glassesdirect.co.uk and have all had good results, and have saved a bundle--about £20 a basic pair including postage. As to Rainbows--I just couldn't call the leaders by their names--Dragonfly and Koala Bear

I am very relived to say that titles for Rainbow Leaders are optional and that our group opted not to way way back before I joined! Aprilia wanted me to be "Sun" like the leader in the Ready for Rainbows book but I said that it would be silly to suddenly change how things were done (and bless her she believed me!)

how odd, clo played Globe Trotting this morning as I have hit major slump and so she said I could just sit with my tea and spin the doodah wotsit. She loves it. Hers cost £1.50 from a charity shop so even better value :-)

btw, I was wondering on the way home from collecting Clo from Rainbows that she has to call her leaders Rainbow Daisy and Rainbow Tulip - are you a Rainbow flower too?????

yup, that's the sort of thing I was thinking of, just something that will do what they are supposed to do and not be a tragedy if they get lost/broken
