more of the same
nother good day
I do suspect that the incentive chart may have a bit to do with it but then I can live with that if all it’s going to cost me is a few packets of stickers and trinkets from Asda if it means she looks after the GPs and does her chores. My pocket money was always dependent on chores and I don’t see this as much different really (but cheaper!!!)
She spent ages marbling in the back garden this afternoon whilst I read to her. The smell if turps is much more tolerable when the breeze is wafting it away. In fact she had her hands busy most of the day between colouring most of the morning whilst listening to a **** Fairy Magic CD (well, at lesat it excuses us from reading it to her), marbling, paper weaving with me and some cutting and sticking project that kept her happy even if I’ve no idea what she made.
Yellow overlay again was the magic bullet for getting her to confidently read. Just at this point i don’t care if it’s pacebo, mimicing me or genuine, it’s working which just makes life so much easier all round. I must get round to getting her a pack of the yellows so we can have them available round the house. I suppose I should start her a recipe book too, I hve one with blue pages to save me messing wtih specs in the kitchen, maybe a nice sunny yellow one would be a nice thing for her "hope chest" (yes, she really does still want a hope chest…. ho hum, must get round to getting a nice box for it!)
Whilst she was being magically entertained this morning I did more compost turning in the Rainbow boxs. I’ve nearly whittled it down to 3 boxs now (from 6 overlfowing ones) which gives me scope to maybe do a bit of fund raising for a parachute or some other big games for the unit as I’ll have space to store it now!
First Rainbow meeting tomorrow - all nervous and excited about it.

be thinking of you with the rainbows - wish we lived nearer so Big could be one of your gang!
