Drawing With Children
I’ve just searched for this on Amazon and would it surprise anyone to know that everyone who has looked at that seems to have also looked at predominantly home ed books? it’s added to my Wish List in the vain hope that Red Cross will pay me in 2 weeks and I can call it a Home Ed expense.
Trouble is some dozy what-not has not been signing in properly at Oulton and the Oulton office are being stroppy, won’t pay the parts of teh invoice they can verify that Red Cross staff were there for the sakes of a few days they can’t. Which means then that the Red Cross won’t pay the minions. If I find out who it is taht is incapable of writing his name in the book…..
Anyway, moving on….
This morning at mum and dad’s church it wsa teh end of Fun Club service which all the kids were invited to so they could show off what they had been doing for the week. Only Aprilia turned up but she made up for the lack of the others by being very bouncy and doing all the actions to the songs at the front of church. maybe I should point out at this point that my mum and dad are some of the younger members of this particular church…. I’m not sure they knew what had hit them
I’ve given up the hunt for Miquon and downloaded it from Homeschool E-store (hey, it’s under £3:50 with the current exchange rate and I can stretch to that!) so we have maths sorted out for the morning. We are really ready to get back into routine now. last year we never really got going. Partly because it was just too easy to switch on Class TV adn leave her to it (after which the day is half done and we aren’t in the mood) and partly because actually we normally do the minimum during winter and loads in the garden in warmer times which of course have been somewhat lacking recently. I need to get a grip!
How do you do crossness when they are so cute at being naughty?
