I need my baby back right now, I can’t stand the lack of hugs any longer. My hat goes off to Deb for sending one of hers away for months rather than days, dunno how you made it past the first week.

I don’t know how I did it either. When it got to about four months, people were saying “oh, hasn’t it flown in!” and my reply was that no, it hadn’t. For me, it absolutely dragged.
But he wanted to go, and how could I stop him? I mean, I know I could have just refused, but well, no, I couldn’t, really. He’d have hated me for it - and anyway, it truly *was* a great opportunity. And it truly *was* good for him.
Very glad he’s back though. For now. He’s planning to go to Germany next!
