Tuesday’s To Dos
I have an hour before I need to be at the ex RAinbow Leader’s house to pick up 4 huge boxs of stuff and sort out paperwork, keys and so on. The shelves are all clear and ready for the boxs and htey are being put away striaght away so I’m not tempted to spend hours rummageing when I have other stuff to do.
This afternoon I have a meeting with my mentor who is working me through the training pack to get my warrant as a Leader.
That leaves me with a few hours to fill….. I need to
Work out how new dishwasher is going to fit in small kitchen. It didn’t look *that* big in the shop! - it’s surprisingly light, ie I was able to move it from the hall to the kitchen without any struggle at all, so I’m wondering if it will actually go on the worksurface where the old one was (which was too heavy for me to move - work that out!) although obviously it will take up a little more workspace than the old one did!
Finish straightening out the bedroom - pretty much there, not perfect but at least the poor sod will be able to get where he needs to and won’t go home covered in dust!
Unplug and move current PC (may carry over til first thing tomorrow) - printer already moved, other added extras unplugged, just the bare essentials to move once Duke has backed up.
Straighten out hallway and stairs - pretty much okay there now, not perfect, but safe!
Fold up and put away Tiny Tent sleeping pods which are now dry - Well, I folded it all up but NO WAY was it all going to be nice and squish back into that little bag! Curretnly one pod and one groundsheet are wrapped round the outside of the bag until I can work my way up to a nother go.
Get washing on line - it’s rained - how unreasonable is that then!
Attack the filing which all fell out of the wallet thing the other week and which is now in a real state - shudder…. am doing that tonight in the living room with the shredder handy for out of date stuff that can’t just be recycled.
Ask Duke to back up PC
Fill a few more bin bags with stuff removed from the shelves in the hallway last night (had to dismantle shelves to get dishwasher into house….) - going to have to be a team effort with Duke this evening as a lot of it seems to be PC or motorbike related stuff so I’m guessing it’s his…. may well insist that shelves aren’t going back up though, I like it without them in the way!
Right then, better log off and get to it!
Just about to set off for "apointement number 2" which is with the District Commissioner to sort out my leadership whatnot. The ex leader supplied me not with the promised 4 boxs of stuff but 6 as she found the 2 that the previous leader gave her - she’s never even looked in them so has no idea what’s in them but thought I may like them anyway….. So on the bottom of my to do list is to, at some point, rummage through 6 boxs and see what’s staying and what can go!
