getting a grip
I think I can put the wobbliness down to hormones. Thank you for all the replies adn for being gentle with me. In the midst of all the hormonal angst it occured to me (not for the first time) that life would be easier with less crap in the house. Life would also be easier if I forced myself into a routine and dragged my child into it with me.
I got totally overwhelmed this week just trying to keep too many balls in the air. Sorting out life insurance has turned out to be less straight forward than I thought, I got something like 10 letters in 7 days, all of them in Legalese, half of them being repeats of other ones and most of them requiring a response. Today I phoned the broker and asked to be babied throuigh it. her response? She pretty much read everything out to me over the phone, stopping to explain the technical words. She was on for ages (on an 0800 number) adn it’s all now sorted. We are being charged £3 extra a month cos we are both overweight (sigh) but I can live with that! In amongst all that we got the reassessment for tax credits (several million pages thereof, twice of course as he gets 1 set adn I get my own…. both say that same thing 
) and there was the licence to send off for being a bad girl adn driving too fast. And Duke’s endowment policy to sort out and , and , and.
But anyway. Today Aprilia practiced being a teenager and slobbed about a lot listening to the delight that is Cebeebies radio and playing by herself. She does this every now and then, she just seems to need to "re-set" for a day and is usually much nicer to live with if left to it. Funnily enough I do the same sometimes…. and today we licked wounds in our respective dens and got on with it.
This evening I was supposed to be at Red Cross but my exhaust broke just after I set out. Conclusive proof that there is a God if you ask me - I really did not want to go but couldn’t think of a good enough excuse not to up til that point 
So tomorrow I get the nice shiny new exhaust that my poor mo-mo has needed since Februay!
