Winsford is to have a "super-school" combining the special needs (physical disability), special needs (learning difficulties) schools for the area with several of the small primary schools adn the 2 secondary schools all into 1. It’s down a narrow road just off the main dual carriage way that is already chaos at school run times from the 1 secondary school down there. Not mentioned in the article but rumoured locally is that part of the reason taht so much money has recently been spent on one of the secondary schools is that it will become the new council offices after "reorganisation" in 2009 when it is likely that many of the current burrough councils will merge.
Oh golly, I’m so sad that she won’t be going there!!! (not!)
Meanwhile on the home front, Aprilia went to bed tonight with some new readers I got from the book people with a follow along CD. I peeped in a bit later to see her following the words muttering under her breath along with the CD. It’s happening isn’t it? That "raspberry moment" is moving closer….
