are all small girls this bad?

No, this isn’t a bitch about my particular small girl…. just the horrors of the neighbourhood coven emoticon  There are 3 girls all about a year younger than Aprilia on the street.  Sometimes they all play nicely, sometimes one will declare "we aren’t playing with Aprilia today, lets go" and march off then anounce to at least one set of parents that "Aprilia isn’t our friend any more" loudly with a hint of injury in the tone as if Aprilia has done something to warrent this.  Now, I know girls fall in and out adn I know I’m not raising an angel here but a couple of times recently I’ve been around when it’s happened and quite honestly I have no idea what her crime is!  She is no more bossy than any of the others.  She’s not been mean to them that I could see or hear.  Today she was told that "we aren’t playing with you because you don’t go for horseriding lessons"  which is true, she doesn’t, but then neither do 2 out of the other 3.  The lads next door play with her no trouble although it gets a bit rough sometimes (they forget she’s a girl and is liable to run off wailing when things get a bit too robust!) but no amount of kick about makes up for seeing girls doing girlie stuff without her but in plain sight of her.

And just to make it more anoying, one of them had an ice lolly off us the other week, one from a use it again mold and I’ve just realised I’ve not got hte handle back of her dad yet (who promised to drop it back as soon as he’d dumped the kid at nana’s so Mum and Dad could go out to the pub again) so now I’m back to using a plastic spoon for a lolly handle  emoticon

  1. Maybe if you got any 2 of the girls together, they’d play very nicely, but the dynamics change when there’s 3 or 4. I haven’t been too impressed with Jade’s behaviour recently, so I’m looking for all kinds of reasons but not making much progress!
