T-Bird Anni Rides Again

hot stuff!

Aprilia and I were out on duty all day today and were very grateful of a bit of shade, factor 40 and a huge contariner of cold water!  We had a really great day, Aprilia spent some of it showing off her newfound reading skills to our vicar’s wife (she’s a teacher, poor woman, she probably relishes 2 days off without small children reading at her!) and a lot of it playing kick about with whoever would play with her.  much less to do this week than last but there was a oh so definitely broken foot (did I mention I’m squeemish about bones???)  Duke has declared that I’m a trouble magnet as I had more "business" than him and he was at a race track!

Incidentally, I’ve blogged the garden over at the crafty blog if anyone wants to feel better about the state of theirs!

8 things

8 things you may or may not know about me.  Sorry, I’m not doing 16 just cos I got tagged twice!

  1. My real name actually is Anita (Aprilia and Duke are motorbike names, as it T-bird)
  2. I am squeemish about broken bones which is unfortunate considering my hobby!
  3. I have to look at my hands to work out which way is left and right.
  4. 1 can of coke can keep me awake for a whole night and most of the next day, which comes in handy sometimes
  5. I’ve been married for 10 years this year
  6. I go dizzy on stairs if I rush, they just jump out of my way.  Aparently this isn’t supposed to happen.
  7. I craved Snickers bars all through my pregnancy which I dutifully resisted, my MIL fecthed me a huge bag of snack sized ones after the birth and you know what?  The indulgance just didn’t live up to the anticipation!
  8. I love knitting but I’m too impatient to knit grown up sized things, I’m all for the instant gratification of socks and baby clothes so I never have any decent woolies of my own.
I cannot for the life of me think of anyone who hasn’t already been tagged but if you haven’t and you want to be leave a comment!
