Normal service shall resume soon ;-)
Really shouldn’t blog past bedtime, I always ends up being grumpy! Anyway, today was the festering festival with added extra troupe dancing. It was okay as these things go, I was glad of my SheWee as the loos were, well, exactly what you expect from loos at busy events really - no way was I rolling down my overalls and risking the sleeves trailing on the floor
At least we only had 6 twisted ankles this time (we lost count last year) although that was canceled out by my first c-spine casualty of the year. She wsa the base of a pyramid adn the girl at the top fell and landed with her knee right on the nape of the poor casualties neck. She just wanted an ice pack to make the headache go away…. she got a collar, full imobilisation and a ride in an ambulance.
We had a few good chats with various visitors including the local hobby bobbies who came in to enjoy our air con for a while (it was a lovely warm day but with absolutely no breeze so it wsa a bit stuffy amongst the crowds) and I facinated lots of people with knitting round in circles.
Meanwhile Aprilia talked Lola into taking her to the fun fair again, so we now have a toy bow and arrow to go with whatever it was she "won" yesterday on the hook a duck. She’s blissfully happy with this and I am expecting to be shot at regualrly for the next few days (until it mysteriously gets lost
)

Have now ordered a SheWee for my sister who is pregnant. It’ll make her laugh! Certainly made me laugh. Especially the picture of the women “using” it at the urinals while the men are waiting.

yes, the website made me giggle too, great product though (once you get over the giggle factor) - much nicer than doing that trying to hover just above the really grotty seat routine!
