quick quiestions for Helen
cos I can never remember which of your e-mails it the best one to get you one!
do you want really long cuffs on your gloves or just "pulse warmers" and is it the mainly greens and blues one on the picture (having a dense moment on my left and right vs the monitor’s left and right as to which one you picked out.)

I have this mental image of Timothy Davidson in “All Creatures..” standing behind a cow wearing armpit length gloves.

rofl tim. we do on occasion wear gauntlets…
t-bird just a bit beyond pulse i guess - like ‘normal’ gloves. and yes, greens and blues soundsw fab.
oh, and mum has never heard of cutting down strings, and she couldn’t find any spares for me to send you, as she says i have them somewhere - will search!

Okay, reds at the bottom it is then, Helen. And matching socks no problem, will get an extra ball to be sure I have enough (cos I’m a paranoid what-not and actually I rather like that colour too!)
As for strings, I know that one on her half size is a cut down as she broke one trying to tune it herself (it pinged back and hit her nose!) and the local shop had never heard of smaller strings so I got a full size and chopped off what I didn’t need, it seems to hold it’s tune okay but local shop was ££££££ more than I’ve seen them for on the net!
