market research
so, if you were after a bit of knitwear for small child would any of these colour combos get you all a-flutter and make you part with significant values of cash? or maybe something more cheap and cheerfully baby-coloured. And what would you buy? cardies? pull overs? bootees? Hats? I’m thinking on the (long range) lines of mittens ready for winter (with optional coloured cords so they don’t get lost!) plus maybe "tent socks" in either the aforementioned expensive but funky alpaca or cheap and cheerful acrylic for summer - knitted or crochets slip ons to keep your feet warm in the tent without having to trail muddy shoes inside- which I’m trialing a few patterns for now. I like the idea of alpaca but unless I can get it cheaper then I’m not sure it’s a go-er unless people are willing to pay top whack for it!
or of course, I could always go the wooly wrap route with something subtle (not) like the varigated yarn here which are currently on special and then hunt down another pure wool once that’s off offer! Or I could do the wraps in alpaca for a lanolin free all natural option….
Or (finally) I could do wheat or flax bags with covers - expensive to post out but maybe something for craft/car booting?
Oh, it’s all far too confusing at this time of night!!!
