All out of steam
the other week I mind mapped 90% of my next essay. Just need to finish it up and stick it together into an essay format and it’s done. Trouble is that, unlike the mindmapping software I used to use, this one doesn’t want to export to anything so I’ve got to manually cut and paste the lot and you know? I really can’t be bothered
I didn’t get it all done in one fell swoop as I wanted to wait on the last one to come back to check if there was anything I needed to do differently and now I really have run out of steam to finish it at all.
Argh, how on earth do people hold down full time jobs, families AND study at the same time???

I do have some Mind mapping software on a PCPro cover DVD, Mind Manager, I think. Otherwise Alt+PrintScr.

Thaks Jax, I think I’ve sussed it, I just exported it as a HTML file and all the notes I wrote “behind” each bit of the map are neatly organised underneith the map image (which is now clickable so I can click on a bit of map and it takes me to the right bit of the wordy bit under it!) using the map words as headings and subheadings. ACtually it’s better than the software I was using before now I’ve worked out how to use it but it just took me a while work out how to make it do that (and being Linux the “user manual” is written in Linux-speak which I really don’t get)
Still can’t get going on the ****** essay though….. Ho hum, CSI in an hour so not long to languish before I give up for hte nihgt!
