Right, The Beans…

had a fab visit with the Beans.  Journies both ways were blissfully uneventful except for me running over a road cone on the way down which made an awful noise until I managed to find a bump in the motorway to bounce over and flick it out!

The party was great, lovely to see people again and to see once more how easily HE-ed children just fall back in with each other as if it was only the other day rather than the other month when they last played together.

We stopped over for the night as I’m just a wuss when it comes to driving for 3-4 hours twice in one day which made for a pleasantly relaxed evening’s chatting and more time for SB and Aprilia to do that thing where they discover just what it’s like to play with someone equally strong willed (my child is a total tyrant at times….) but hte wails were short lived and the play was mostly co-operative ;)

today will be busy, it’s shopping day, it’s also the day that I may be able to get a small freezer if Furniture Finders have one in and hence get more freezer space than I’ve ever had in my life (yay, batch cooking her we come!) and a special chruch service tonight to celbrate the building’s 700th birthday (doesn’t look a day over 500 honest ;-)   ) which, weather permitting, is being followed by fireworks.  In between all this lot I need to try to book her in to the dentist as a small chip on one of her adult teeth has developed into a rather nasty looking hole that is imparing her chocolate enjoyment!
