Sadly it's a common cock up with the incompetent oiks that do payroll for the "casual staff" (oi, we're the serfs wot pay your wages goon!) and it's not all that unusual for non of us to get paid and get a double hit the next month at which point it then costs the society £££ as they have to pay employers NI contributions and give us an expenses credit to the value of hte NI we pay seeing as it's their fault we got charged it (non of htat made sense did it???) and it's not illegal as we don't have a contract as such, we are volenteers (the lowest form of life in a charity...) who just happen to do a few bits that pay expenses (like 12 hour days at Oulton for the princely sum of £30) I've not calmed down yet have I???
