T-Bird Anni Rides Again

I think I can safely say she was educated rather broadly today.  She played a Dora game or two (well, okay, she played every Dora game on the site!) at Nick Jr ( so that covers Spanish) and then lurched over to PBS kids for a bit of Clifford (um, literacy I think) and Lazy Town (phys ed)  She topped it all off with some Dance Mat Typing from the Beeb (ICT?).  She’s actually doing the right finger for the right key now which is so impressive! This afternoon she also watched Magic Schoolbus on Weather  (geogprahy?) and some quiz show or other (general knowlege)  So I declared her educated, fed her pizza and put her to bed after hanging up the new dreamcatcher she insisted I make for her - take 1 long sausage of messed up Fimo and make into a ring, roll out some red and cut out a heart, make a hole at the top of the heart and bake, tangle a bit of thread round the ring and hang the heart on the bottom, glaze and sprinkle heart with glitter…. (to giver her extra sparkly dreams you understand!!)  Sigh, I’m at the Park tomorrow so I could really do with all my side of the bed to myself tonight!

Tomorrow I am going to take my study books and see how far I can push on, with regular breaks to do a bit of knitting salted through the day! 

The Red Cross have fouled up so instead of paying me for the work I did last month they paid it to another member (wtf!!!!)  Rather than pulling the money back off that member adn paying me a day or so late they are (drum roll) going to pay me this time’s money in with next times meaning it will go over the threshold for national insurance so I lose out, adn the person who has my money will have it offset against future earnings so whist some lucky git got my nearly £200 as an "advance of pay" in effect, I’m nearly £200 down until this time next month, therefore I’m now £100 behind my budget rather than the £100 ahead taht I should be, hence paying interest on £100 more than I should be and so on….. Rather tempted to charge them interest…..

oh for goodness sake, what does a mama have to do round here to get enough bed to get to sleep on???
