where to put it all???

You know, I bet life was so much easier when kids didn’t have so much STUFF!!!!!  I think the Beans will confirm that Aprilia had a fair haul of gifts at the weekend and although much of it was crafty stuff which will live downstairs, all the Lego and millions of Pretty Ponies will need accommodating in her room.  So the Duplo has to go.  And we have had to juggle sets of drawers about.  And there has been some general tidying and cleaning.  Still not homed the Lego though!  it *will* go in  there…. eventually

Educationally today she did a page or two of EarlyBird.  Really, really must order MPH!  We have scant pages of EB left and much as Miquon is okay and MEP is tolerable it’s Singapore that really floats her boat as it’s nice and colourful and full of pretty pics (sigh)  Actually I want to get Starter Stile Maths as we both love the format and it’s self checking (making it easy to set her going with whilst I do some study of my own) There has also been lots of colouring due to an influx of Disney colouring books and pencils.  I consider this to be pen control and will allow it to be called educational until I can re-discover her desk and get us back into something vaguely resembling routine.

Oh and the lady from the LEA cometh…. on the 20th when Aprilia is with Grandpa for the day.  So she will meet me but not Aprilia, no doubt from all reports she will take one look at all the books in the living room and declare me to be doing a grand job!  Aparently she *likes* full book cases ;-)
