6 years ago today…
…I was tucked up, flat on my back, with my new baby by my side, in a side ward recovering from a c-section. She was lovely then and she is lovely now. I spent some time the other day browsing through baby pics and was rather amused to find one of her grmacing in a way she still does 6 years later!
We have had a lovely day today, filled with visitors, party food and chaos. I’m sure the Beans took some good pics as both me and Duke totally forgot 
but anyway, she’s now flaked out and I’m going to collapse on the sofa for a couple of hours with some crochet (cos I AM GOING TO FINISH THAT SHRUG THIS YEAR!!!) and a cuppa. Tomorrow I may attempt to blog the weekend. Then again I may just play with my horribly gorwn up "baby" and all her millions of new toys!

Didn’t quite twig that it’s her 6th birthday this month. I’d have put money on her being older than Miss C. Happy Birthday to your young lady anyway - and thinking of you too! Scary how quickly that babe grows up isn’t it?
