Some RAinbow leaders automatically put the girls down for Brownies when they are added to the Rainbow list but not all do. Oh, and totally un-related, I've got some nice "little house" type stuff downloaded today - may be a bit bit to e-mail to you but I'll give it a go if you would like it or stick it on a disc if it won't send. ugh!
