House of tiny tearaways here we come…
what? they only take toddlers? Darn it!
She’s been vile all day. Whilst I know this is a combination of cabin fever, excitement over the impending Melrose event and the perfectly natural tendency of small children to tell outrageous fibs and not tidy up rooms without melting down, it’s still worn me down somewhat today.
Tomorrow will be better… tomorrow she is with Grandpa all day
so I can get our bedroom into a fit state to accept visitors
- You see we have decided that we can’t ask visitors to share a room with 6 fish and 2 guinea pigs when Duke is on call for the night so could be opening and shutting the front door (right next to the living room) several times in the night so our room has to be at the very least safe for people to walk into if not strictly speaking tidy

I imagine fish and guineapigs would be more entertaining night-time companions than my DH…….!

Now Joanna, I have no wish to know about your nocturnal entertainments dearest….
Actually I think the main thing is that Duke may be in and out of the house a few times during the night and we don’t have a door on the living room so every time he opened the front door it would blow a gale right through to the sofa bed!

might it not be easier to may a screen??? and much more fun - think battens and fabric remnants!

oh gosh! what a fab idea! Will rummage through the wood and fabric later assuming it stays dry enough to brave the garage!
