Bad Omens?
would I be wrong in saying that having the fuse blow for all the plugs in the house with 15 mins to go before the New Year does not make for an auspicious start? Granted we were supposed to replace the fuse box with a nice shiny new consumer unit resplendant with those pretty little trips and granted the upstairs and downstairs plugs should be on a different fuse anyway but hey! What gives??? Oh yes, forgot, the electric shower is also wired through the plug circuit rather than being on it’s own circuit so if the washing machine is running you can’t have a shower…..
Anyway, fuse wire replaced and we are back to life again.
I’ve been trying all day to collect my thoughts to sort of sum up the year but they keep slipping through the holes which means you are spared a lot of detail! Off the top of my head here’s 2006 as it happened at Number 32 The Blogring….

Blog bumping with some wonderful friends

Aprilia finally "getting" the whole sounding out thing
Watching my baby grow into a proper little girlie (complete with neatly painted finger nails and carefully brushed hair)
Hearing my dad sing the praises of home ed
Passing my Level 1 Spanish
Getting the Net back after just over a month of depravation…
Finding my Mooncup the other day (phew!!!) buried at the bottom of my handbag

Nope, sorry, it’s in the past and it can all damned well stay there.
The Ugly
That would be losing broadband then….
and my temper roughly 1 day in every 28 (ish)
