T-Bird Anni Rides Again

There is a sort of threat to declutter on a serious basis this year and get some sort of domestic bliss thing going.  Oi! no laughing at the back!  Anyway, today we freecycled an old TV, PC desk that no one here likes and a child’s desk that was just not "right" for Aprilia but had all been lurking round (as they were all too good just to chuck out)  Two lovely people came, both utterly delighted to be getting the stuff and I sort of feel all warm and fuzzy knowing that they have gone to nice new homes.

Add to that the fact that EVERYONE took their plates to the sink after EVERY meal today and now, at 8:30pm, there is nothing in the sink at all, I’m feeling pretty good.

I’m going to do some sort of "Targets" for the year, will probably stick them as a page and (cough) print them out in case of further blog crises!  Needs some pndering though, I’m sort of lured by the thought of doing "Sets of 5" like last year but not sure if that’s not a bit too much! 

would I be wrong in saying that having the fuse blow for all the plugs in the house with 15 mins to go before the New Year does not make for an auspicious start?  Granted we were supposed to replace the fuse box with a nice shiny new consumer unit resplendant with those pretty little trips and granted the upstairs and downstairs plugs should be on a different fuse anyway but hey!  What gives???  Oh yes, forgot, the electric shower is also wired through the plug circuit rather than being on it’s own circuit so if the washing machine is running you can’t have a shower…..

Anyway, fuse wire replaced and we are  back to life again.

I’ve been trying all day to collect my thoughts to sort of sum up the year but they keep slipping through the holes which means you are spared a lot of detail!  Off the top of my head here’s 2006 as it happened at Number 32 The Blogring….
