In other words, not letting her do exercise because she thinks she needs to lose weight (right there with you wanting to flog whoever was involved!) but because exercise just is good for you. The (very American) <a href="http://www.5aday.com/" rel="nofollow">5aday</a> has lots of nice kid related activities on balanced diets with fruit and veg without going into extremes (or so it seemed, I didn't wade all that far through it). Some ppl really don't deserve to be allowed around children. Hope Christmas was OK despite this.
