T-Bird Anni Rides Again

I’m back up and running and can bore you all to tears again on a daily basis

Anyway, let’s start with a (hopefully) brief round up of my little absence….

Aprilia lost a bottom tooth and it’s neighbour is wobbling nicely which is getting Duke all daft about the prospect of her being able to sing "all I want for Crithmath ith my 2 front teeth"

She also now has 4 rather huge looking grown up molars at the back which just make her milk teeth look so tiny. 

 I passed my OU Spanish

 My next load of OU books have landed and I’ve got a headstart with them.  The couse starts the last week of January (oops, I’m busy that week aren’t I??) and doesn’t ahve any "reading weeks" (that’s catch up weeks to us mere mortals…) so I want to get as far ahead as poss to allow for dead brain days, holidays and having a life every now and then.

 It’s less than a week to Christmas, I have no idea if I’ve got gifts for everyone I should have, I have not wrapped a single gift, the books I ordered from Amazon weeks ago finally got dispatched yesterday which means they probably won’t land until after the Big Day (so that’s her birthday pressie sorted then!) and I realised today the only veg I have  in the house is 4 carrots so I’m going to have to brave Asda some time tomorrow for reinforcements.  I HATE CHRISTMAS!!!  BAH HUMBUG and all that.  ACtually I don’t, I hate the crap that surronds it, the "oh, you can’t give something that small/cheap to So-and-so, we should be spending at least £10 on each person, more on close family (bugger off…. it’s not my fault you have so much family mate and they don’t spend taht much and they all earn a damned sight more than you……..)  No, I’m stopping right now, this is unproductive (but therapeutic )

 It’s just over a month to Melrose (yipeeee!!!)

I’ve been "rumbled" by the LEA but they are a nice bunch round here so I sweetly filled in their questionaire being just a tad vague on the specifics (like what resources do you plan to use….. cough, how does one describe my selection of resources in a box 1" deep????) and a tad facecious on the Social Interaction question (like PTO and carried on the rather extensive list of our social life as the 1" box was just never going to fit in everything she does )  Not heard back from them yet.

 We went Off the Path for a very pleasant weekend

Aprilia joined the church choir as the vicar managed to find a robe small enough (I’d said she could join once she was big enough to fit a robe without me hemming it!) and has elicited many an "ahhh" from the Ladies.
